1. Services Provided
J’s Care connects families with vetted, background-checked childcare providers (“Caregivers”). Parents/guardians (“Clients”) may book hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly childcare through our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and book services.

Caregivers must pass background checks and meet our verification requirements before being listed.

3. Registration and Fees

A one-time registration fee is required to access booking services.

Service fees are based on hourly or subscription plans as outlined on our website.

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

4. Booking and Cancellations

Bookings are subject to caregiver availability.

Clients may cancel a booking within 24 hours for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a partial or no refund.

J’s Care reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of emergencies or caregiver unavailability, with full refunds provided.

5. Responsibilities of Clients

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about childcare needs.

Clients must ensure a safe environment for caregivers.

J’s Care is not liable for personal belongings, property damage, or issues outside the scope of contracted childcare.

6. Responsibilities of Caregivers
-
Caregivers must arrive on time, provide quality childcare, and follow all safety requirements.

Caregivers are not permitted to engage in illegal activities or unauthorized services.

7. Liability

J’s Care acts as a platform to connect families and caregivers.

While we conduct background checks, J’s Care is not responsible for actions of caregivers outside contracted hours.

Clients assume full responsibility for the safety and supervision of their children once care begins.

8. Termination of Accounts

J’s Care reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, non-payment, or violations of these terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between Clients and Caregivers should first be resolved directly.

J’s Care may mediate at its discretion but is not obligated to resolve disputes.

Any unresolved disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

10. Changes to Terms
J’s Care may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revised “Effective Date.”
